I like this picture fairly well. It stood out from a bunch of others I was browsing through. The spider seems ready to pop right out at the observer.

The photo is also pretty clear, and we can see details like his hairs.

The focus of the picture seems fairly balanced. Its clear in the center, bright and detailed, and fades out to the edges nicely.

Also the lack of distracting debris is good.

For my scores:
Vision: 5 stars
It is well captured, well framed.

Originality: 2.5 stars
I have seen lots of spider pictures. Other then just plain good photography, there is not anything in particular else that makes it really unique

Technique: 4.5
You captured it very well.

Impact: 4
good enough to catch my eye out of dozens of photos.

The detail in this photograph is incredible. It really makes the spider come to life, down to the smallest hairs on it's legs. I also love the circular focus, it adds an element to the photograph that makes it much more appealing than if it was just a flat focus photo. Just from a personal viewpoint, I wish the spider was centered on the photo. I think it would of made the impact even higher, and increased the intensity and scary element this photo has. Overall though incredible job. I really cannot think of much negative things to say about this image. Wonderful work!

Eek it gives me shivers just to look at! I love that you can see all the bristles coating its body! The focus is perfect here and I love the reflection on its many eyes : )

Dass lediglich das linke Vorderbein sowie Augen und Kopf der kleinen Spinne in den Fokus gestellt werden.
Der einheitliche dunkle Hintergrund lässt keinerlei Ablenkung vom Hauptmotiv zu. Als ob die Spinne einem direkt in die Augen schaut
